William Boonen
President
As President of BLASE, I oversee and guide the organization together with Charlotte, while also focusing on the long term vision and maintaining strong relations with our alumni network. With internship experience in finance, my current master's in Business Economics, and personal interest in geopolitics, I am passionate in how leadership decisions influence financial markets. My goal is to pursue a career with international exposure, leading teams and projects across borders.
Charlotte Mariën
Vice-President
As Vice President, I oversee the collaboration between our teams, ensuring seamless coordination and the successful delivery of our events. With a background in political science, an interest in real estate, and my current master’s in Business Economics, I believe broad interests strengthen leadership and reflect BLASE’s values. In my free time, I enjoy hiking and traveling.
Eline Feremans
Marketing Manager
As Marketing Manager at BLASE, I help shape our brand identity and bring students and partners together by presenting our projects in a clear and engaging way. BLASE fuels my passion for creativity, strategy and international perspectives, inspiring me to turn fresh ideas into meaningful impact. Outside of BLASE, I love traveling and hope to link this interest to future studies that broaden my perspective.
Olivier Geens
Finance & Legal Manager
I am Olivier and currently I'm doing my Master’s in Business Economics while working as Finance & Legal Manager at BLASE. I take care of partner contracts and invoices, making sure everything runs smoothly. I also keep an eye on our cash flow to know where we stand financially. On top of that, I created the budget for this academic year to help plan ahead.
Pieterjan Rowaert
Community Manager
My name is Pieterjan Rowaert, and I’m the Community Manager of BLASE Leuven. I handle our promo booths, lecture presentations, newsletters, event registrations, and overall communication with students. I also organise our teambuildings and support the team with personal development and HR matters. A fun fact about me is that I hope to work in Canada for a year after my studies and eventually pursue an MBA later on.
Klaas Thomas
Operations Manager
As Operations Manager, I oversee event organization and help create a dynamic environment where partners and students can connect and excel. As a civil engineer, BLASE broadens my perspective and deepens my interest in economics, leadership, and especially energy economics. I’m passionate about sustainability and hope to pursue an additional degree in economics or entrepreneurship in the future.
Rob Wuyts
Corporate Relations Manager
As Corporate Relations Manager, I focus on managing our existing partner relationships and securing new sponsors for our upcoming projects. My goal is to pursue a Master's in Finance at a top-tier business school abroad after completing my current studies. In my downtime, I'm simply a huge sports fan who loves watching just about every sport on TV.
Ward Wybo
IT & Analytics Manager
As IT & Analytics Manager, I oversee the digital backbone of BLASE. My role encompasses everything from web management (yes, I made this website) and IT support to generating strategic insights through student data analytics. As a Business Economics student, I am a strong believer in the value of extracurriculars to bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world business cases.
Anna Bouwen
Corporate Relations
My name is Anna, and I’m responsible for Corporate Relations at BLASE. Connecting with partners and building meaningful collaborations is something that energizes me. Sharing delicious meals with good company is one of my favorite ways to relax. I also love traveling and discovering new cultures, as it helps me grow and see things from new perspectives.
Amélie Creemers
Corporate Relations
I am Amélie, and I am part of the corporate relations team at BLASE. This means I maintain existing partnerships and develop new collaborations with leading business schools and companies. I am a chemical engineering student with a strong interest in the connection between technology, management and economics. I hope to pursue this interest further by joining a business school after completing my degree.
Laurence Criekemans
Marketing
My name is Laurence Criekemans and I am currently studying Business Economics. Being part of the BLASE marketing team allows me to express my creativity while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic team environment. I contribute to shaping our visual identity and creating engaging content. I have a strong interest in fashion, especially in how trends influence the market and I enjoy traveling to discover new places and meet new people.
Grace Devroe
Operations
I am Grace Devroe, an Operations Team Member at BLASE. I help ensure that our events run smoothly through venue coordination, logistics planning, and on-site support. I enjoy working in fast-paced environments and taking responsibility for the behind-the-scenes details. Passionate about exploring different cultures, I hope to pursue an international career that allows for frequent travel.
Klaas Goubert
Corporate Relations & Operations
As a Corporate Relations & Operations Member at BLASE, I help maintain partnerships and ensure our events run efficiently from planning to on-site execution. I enjoy bringing structure to fast-paced environments and working closely with both students and external partners. Passionate about global business and problem-solving, I hope to build an international career after my studies and eventually run my own company.
Julie Goris
Marketing
I'm Julie Goris, part of the Marketing team at BLASE. In this role, I support our communication and branding by creating clear, engaging content that gets students more involved. Being creative and keeping our social media up to date gives me a lot of energy and motivation. In my free time, I enjoy gymnastics and spending time with friends.
Jarno Huang
Marketing
I'm Jarno Huang, part of the Marketing team at BLASE. In this role, I help shape our communication strategy by creating clear, engaging content and supporting the promotion of key events. I'm passionate about the impact strong branding can have within a student community. Outside of BLASE, I'm deeply driven by sports, especially running and fitness.
