About BLASE
Our mission? Becoming Leuven's main management & leadership hub for exchange of knowledge, contacts and experience
How it all started
In 2020, a group of motivated students in Leuven realized that while many programs focused on theory, there were few opportunities to truly experience management and leadership.
Out of this insight, BLASE was born: an organization built to connect learning with practice.
What began as an idea quickly became a growing community. Students wanted to learn about leadership, strategy, and innovation not just from textbooks, but from real people: business leaders, professors and alumni.
In March 2020, the first BLASE events took place, laying the foundation for what would become Belgium’s first management & leadership hub.
Our Journey
The Idea
Students identified a gap in management and leadership training programs in Leuven.
Foundation
BLASE was officially founded in March 2020 as Leuvens first student-led management hub.
Corporate relations
Expansion of corporate partnerships with leading firms in consulting, FMCG and finance.
Alumni Event
BLASE celebrated its fourth and fifth years of operation during an event with alumni from past and present!
BLASE Bootcamp
Launch of the BLASE Bootcamp, connecting students with top European business schools.
Business School Fair Launch
Successfully launched the first Business School Fair, connecting students with prestigious schools

Our Mission

Academic
We organize Belgium's biggest Business School Fair, and connect ambitious students with top-ranked business schools and universities across Europe and beyond. Through BLASE students explore world-class programs and discover the academic path that matches their leadership ambitions.
Corporate
Through exclusive events, company visits and networking opportunities, students gain firsthand insights into the business world and discover internships, traineeships and young graduate programs that launch their careers early.
Community
At the heart of BLASE lies a community where members and alumni connect, learn, and grow together. Through exclusive internal events such as company visits, international trips and alumni gatherings, members build lifelong friendships and exchange ideas and experiences that shape them as future leaders.
Leadership development
BLASE offers hands-on opportunities for board members to grow into confident and purposeful leaders. Through workshops, internal case sessions and immersive bootcamps, members strengthen their teamwork, communication and decision-making abilities. Leadership at BLASE isn’t just learned, it's practiced and shared within a community that challenges and inspires one another.
