Pieterjan Rowaert
President
As President of BLASE, I oversee and guide the organization together with Klaas, while also focusing on its long-term vision and maintaining strong relationships with our alumni network. Through my studies in Business Engineering, with a major in Technology and Entrepreneurship, I have developed a strong interest in management, innovation, and strategic development within the corporate world. I am particularly interested in combining effective leadership with a people-oriented approach. My ambition is to build an internationally oriented career and, ideally, pursue an MBA in the future.
Klaas Goubert
Vice-President
As Vice President, I oversee the collaboration between our teams, ensuring seamless coordination and the successful delivery of our events. Alongside my role at BLASE, I'm currently starting my first master's in Business Engineering, with a growing interest in financial markets. I believe broad interests strengthen leadership and reflect BLASE's values. In my free time, I enjoy rugby and skiing.
Maria-Laura Nauwelaerts
Marketing Manager
Hi! I'm Maria-Laura, the new Marketing Manager of BLASE Leuven. As a Communication Sciences student, I've always been fascinated by marketing, branding, and social media. Alongside my studies, I started my own clothing brand back in high school, where I designed collections and created all content myself. From building a brand to connecting with an audience online, I've loved every part of the process. I’m also very much a people person. I love meeting new people, exchanging ideas, and connecting others. My friends would probably describe me as energetic, outspoken, and warm-hearted. As Marketing Manager, I'm excited to combine my creativity, communication skills, and enthusiasm to help put BLASE even more on the map and create an unforgettable year for our community.
Thibo Smolders
Finance & Legal Manager
Hi, I am Thibo, and I am currently studying Law with a specialization in Economic Law and Business Administration (ERB) while serving as the Finance & Legal Manager for BLASE, a role where my passion for both law and business perfectly align. Behind the scenes, I bridge the gap between financial health and legal compliance. I take care of our partner contracts and invoices to make sure everything runs smoothly, while closely monitoring our cash flow. To ensure a successful year, I have also designed this academic year's budget to help us plan ahead.
Lien Droushoudt
Community Manager
My name is Lien, and I am proud to be the Community Manager this year. I am responsible for managing our campus presence, which includes everything from promotional booths to aula presentations. Beyond our visible presence, I oversee student communications, newsletters and event registrations. On top of that, I also make sure the team dynamic stays incredibly strong by arranging team-building events and other activities with the board.

Operations Manager
As Operations Manager at BLASE, I make sure everything behind the scenes runs smoothly together with the operations team. I thrive on planning, organizing, and bringing every detail together to create seamless events catered towards students. Our goal is simple: to deliver unforgettable experiences while making sure everything runs flawlessly from start to finish.
Anna Bouwen
Corporate Relations Manager
My name is Anna, and I’m the Corporate Relations Manager at BLASE. Building and maintaining meaningful partnerships and connecting with people is something that truly energizes me. In my free time, I enjoy sharing good food and great conversations with friends and family. I also love traveling and discovering new cultures, as it constantly inspires me and broadens my perspective.
Milo De Bock
IT & Analytics Manager
Hi, my name is Milo! This year I'm taking on the role of IT & Analytics Manager at BLASE. I'll be managing our online tools, providing technical support during events, and building an analytics strategy so we can properly track our data and results. Alongside BLASE, I'm doing a Master's in Human Health Engineering within Bioscience Engineering. In my free time, you'll find me on the padel court or the football pitch.
Jasper Brugge
Operations
As Operations Member at BLASE, I help coordinate events and handle logistics from planning to execution. I enjoy working in fast-paced environments and making sure everything runs smoothly. As a biomedicine student, BLASE broadens my perspective on leadership and strategy beyond the lab. I'm passionate about bridging science and business, aiming to pursue further studies at a business school before building a career in strategic roles with international exposure.

As an Operations Team Member at BLASE, I help ensure our events run smoothly behind the scenes. Driven to take on new challenges, I am passionate about creating unique and innovative experiences that inspire others and leave a lasting impression. Outside of BLASE, I enjoy traveling and staying active through sports. I hope to pursue an international career where I can combine my interests in law, business and sports.

Corporate Relations
As a member of the Corporate Relations team at BLASE, my focus is on connecting ambitious students with top-tier companies and business schools. During my Business Engineering studies, I developed a huge passion for strategy and finance, and I’m looking for exciting opportunities to dive deeper into these fields. Outside of my studies, I'm a massive sports fan who loves both playing and watching just about any game.
Moana Coronas

I’m Moana Coronas, part of the Marketing team at BLASE. In this role, I focus on making sure our message is clear and meaningful, so students and partners truly understand who we are and what we stand for. My goal is to create communication that connects people to our community and encourages engagement. Being creatively involved in this process and exploring new ways to bring our vision to life is something I really enjoy. In my free time, I enjoy traveling and spending time with friends.
Moritz Meulders

I'm Moritz, a Marketing Board Member at BLASE. In this role, I contribute to our communication and brand identity by creating clear, engaging content that highlights our events, partnerships and international opportunities. Being part of a community that encourages leadership and ambition motivates me. Outside BLASE, I enjoy slalom skiing, fitness and exploring entrepreneurial ideas.
Nathan Hejazi
Corporate Relations
As a Corporate Relations Member at BLASE, I work with the team to manage and build strategic partner relationships for our events. As a Mechanical Engineering student, I enjoy putting my problem-solving mindset to the task, while developing my leadership and management skills along the way. In my free time, I enjoy meeting new people and going on random side quests.
Selinde Defrancq

Hi, I’m Selinde! As part of the Marketing team at BLASE, I love using my creativity to capture and share the vibrant energy of our amazing events with the world. I enjoy snapping fun photos with my compact camera, traveling to experience new cultures, experimenting with unusual sports, and embracing whatever comes my way. I look forward to connecting with all kinds of people and learning as much as possible from this fantastic team.
Victor Raemdonck
Corporate Relations
Managing relationships with elite business schools and corporate partners is my main focus within the BLASE Corporate Relations team. This hands-on experience perfectly complements my degree in Business Engineering and my interest in modern management. In my free time, I enjoy keeping up with all kinds of sports events and spending quality time with my friends.
